NNE are delighted to announce The Smiths Ltd are playing at The Bungalow on Friday 8 September.

The Smiths Ltd was formed in Manchester, the hometown of The Smiths.  After an extensive search to find the perfect Morrissey, the band played their first gig to an audience of avid Smiths fans. The response was spectacular, and the band now plays at venues and festivals all over the UK.

If you never saw The Smiths then this is your chance to experience the thrill of those great songs played live. If you were lucky enough to see them first time around then prepare to relive that excitement again. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.

The Brass Monkeys are back for another free entry show on Saturday 9 September. Doors are 1.00pm, but you had better be on time if you want to get a seat. The band have their own style of music that is big and powerful and it s good to see them back in Paisley.

The Bungalow have a 3-band tribute night on Saturday night.  The Foo Fighters, Groinday and The Red Hot Chili Pinos will be on stage ready to get the place rocking. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.

Can we really trust our ‘gut’?  When a grandmother taking her grandson to a cafe, it takes a sinister turn, parents Rory and Maddie are left questioning who can we really trust?

That’s a taste of the play Gut by Frances Poet. This is a new date added after the sell-out success of Burn the Cork Theatre Company’ show last week at Spree for All. Pop-in and have a drink and enjoy an afternoon of theatre. £10 gets you a Prosecco, whisky, vodka, gin or pint of Fosters and entry to the show. Doors 7.00pm.

With only one month until the Royal National Möd comes to Paisley, experience a night of traditional music and Gaelic free. The concert will be a high-quality showcase of tunes, songs and stories from the new Renfrewshire Collection, featuring some of Scotland’s top traditional musicians. The show features Joy Dunlop (song), Ron Jappy (fiddle / guitar), Grant McFarlane (accordion), Alistair Paterson (piano) and Marissa Waite (bodhran). Doors 7.30pm.

Legendary rockers Restless are at Rocknrollas on Friday night, 8 September.  Since 1977, the band have been tearing-up the scene and continue to delight audiences up and down the country. This is a must for any true Rockabilly/Psychobilly fan. Joining them on the night is Three n Eights and The Wild Devils. Doors are 7.30pm.

A multi-national collective and a mix of youth and experience, Riddemption have a mission to deliver UK based original roots rock reggae that pays tribute to the forefathers and queens of the genre that have gone before them. Fresh from headlining several festivals this summer and playing a televised slot on the main stage at Belladrum, Riddemption are coming to Paisley, now the hometown of their ZimScot frontman Daddy Slaggy. A show full of roots rock bangers not to be missed.

One In Ten, the ultimate UB40 tribute bringing you all the hits of UB40 this tribute are at the top of their game and a treat to watch. Doors are 7.30pm.

The Cave have Blind Panik back again from 5.00pm for more classic tunes that everyone loves and after them at 8.00pm it is Ruby Nixons. On Sunday 10 September, the amazing Nightly will be playing from 6.00pm.

Back in the Day are at The Old Swan on Friday night, 8 September from 7.00pm and Midnight Moses are playing from 4.00pm on Saturday 9 September. The Northern Soul Club starts at 4.00pm on Sunday 11 September. Comedy and singing start Lee James start at 3.00pm on Tuesday and Thursday and Duncan McLellan is in his usual slot at 4.00pm on Wednesday 13 September.

Paisley Cover Band of the Year 2021 return to what is always a guaranteed tremendous gig in The Keg from 9.00pm on Friday night, 8 September and tomorrow night at 9.00pm it is Gordon’s Alive.

The Debt Collectors are at The Anchor on Sunday 10 September from 4.30pm.
