Rail users in Glasgow and Paisley – the chance to learn lifesaving skills

15th Oct 2024
St Andrew’s First Aid is offering free CPR demonstrations at train stations throughout Glasgow city and Paisley to mark Restart a Heart Day.

The charity is inviting commuters to get involved with CPR demonstrations and learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

They will also be encouraged to practice what they have learned, getting feedback from St Andrew’s First Aid community engagement trainers and volunteers, to ensure they are prepared to step in and help if they witness someone having a cardiac arrest.

Community engagement trainers and volunteers from St Andrew’s First Aid will be in attendance at the following locations:

Glasgow Queen Street Station – Wednesday 16 October 11.00am-2.00pm

Glasgow Central Station – Saturday 19 October 11.00am-4.00pm

Paisley Gilmour Street Station – Wednesday 23 October 11.00am-2.00pm

Charities such as St Andrew’s First Aid are making it their mission to create a nation of lifesavers, by providing free training to the public.
