Royal Alexandra Hospital Radio on Quality Radio DAB & 107.5 FM
The Royal Alexandra Hospital Radio Show is on Quality Radio 107.5 FM and DAB digital radio every Wednesday between 12 noon and 1.00pm for music requests, news and information about the hospital and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Quality Radio is also available online via this website, click on Listen Live on the front page and on the Quality Radio App for mobile phone and also on smart-speakers, command is: “Alexa, Play Quality Radio UK.”
Hospital radio has made a return to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, thanks to a partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GG&C) and Quality Radio on 107.5 FM & DAB digital radio.
The show offers an opportunity to connect patients and staff, showcase music of the past and present, and create a greater sense of community within the hospital.
The programme will broadcast music and messages submitted by patients, carers and loved ones, reaching listeners across Renfrewshire and the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.

Listeners can tune in to Quality Radio on 107.5 FM and DAB+ digital radio and on the www.qualityradio.uk website. Click on Listen Live on the front right of the home page.

NHSGGC is the largest NHS organisation in Scotland and one of the largest in the UK. They’re responsible for providing and managing a range of health services, serving the population and communities of Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, City of Glasgow and Inverclyde.
Building on the success of Erskine Veterans Radio Show and Quality Radio’s Community Request Show, NHS GG&C hopes to strengthen the sense of community within the hospital. It will give people a chance to share music and messages with those staying, working or caring for someone in the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.
The health board’s Director for Clyde, Melanie McColgan said: “We are thrilled that this partnership with Quality Radio will allow us to bring patients, staff and visitors a new radio show.
“The RAH is at the heart of the community in Paisley, and this gives us another avenue to engage with the public and bring a bit of joy to people during perhaps stressful and uncertain times.”
Followers of the board’s social media, supported Quality Radio to create the Royal Alexandra Hospital radio show: helping to decide the name, timing and content of the programme through various Instagram Stories shared by NHS GG&C.
