Live music this weekend and all next week in Paisley

It’s a free entry gig at The Bungalow on Friday night, 18 September with on stage is RESTART. The band return to The Bungalow after a string of packed-out gigs. Doors open at 7.00pm.

Saturday afternoon, 19 September, it is another free entry gig with The Bobby Deans Big Band who will be playing the best of Swing, Jazz, Big Band and some contemporary numbers too.  Doors open at 1pm.

Saturday night is a belter with the UK’s No1 Tribute Band to Pink – Pretty As Pink. The band is a premier UK-based Pink tribute band featuring vocalist Lorraine Colville, who delivers a high-energy, live 2 and a half-hour show spanning 20 years of hits. Known for filling large venues and theatres, the act features a full live band, dancers, and a state-of-the-art production described as “as close as the real thing”. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.

On Sunday, 20 September, Giveaway are playing a free entry show and doors open at 1.00pm.

The Bungalow Jam kicks off at 7.00pm on Tuesday 22 September. This week’s entertainment includes music, games, a quiz and the usual Open Mic. This is free entry.

The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2.00pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band and the weekly quiz.

On Wednesday 23 September, Story Tree presents highlights from spoken word shows performed at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

This event is free with the option to donate. All donations will be split equally among the performers!

The night is hosted by Georgia Francis (pictured) and the line-up is: India de Bono performing highlights from My Lore Is Wild; TJ Poetry performing highlights from Afternoon T. Dean Tsang performing highlights from Reservations; Beth Rose performing highlights from Someone Will Remember Us; Tere Bertucci performing highlights from Bad Latina; Sarah Heitler performing highlights from Conversations With My Ghosts; Ross Wilcock performing highlights from Love In All Its Colours; Spencer Mason performing highlights from The Graverobber’s Feast and Ross McFarlane performing highlights from A Tenement Tale. Doors are at 7.00pm on Wednesday 23 September 2026.

Ronnie T kicks off at The Old Swan from 4.pm Friday night, 18 September, and following him is a live set from The Brian Kelly Band at 8pm. Saturday, 19 September at 4.00pm Target Street are on stage at 4.00pm. The Sunday Soul Club starts at 4.00pm. Crawford Carlyle, who must be one of the best singers around, starts at 5.00pm on Monday; Lee James on Tuesday at 3.00pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller.  Duncan McLellan will be onstage on Wednesday 23 September at 5.00pm.

There are live sessions as usual at The Keg Friday nights from 9.00pm and Saturday night from 9.00pm. On Thursdays you can discover a full line up of new or up and coming talent showcasing new original material kicking. You might find your newest favourite band.  It all kicks off at 9.00pm.

Rumours are at Kennedy’s on Sunday 20 September from 3.00pm. Saturday night, 19 September, Freight Train are playing at The Inn on the Corner from 5.00pm and on Sunday, 20 September, the very popular Amped will be ready for you on stage at 7.00pm.

Open mics are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday; Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm; The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday; The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm and the Trad Jam at The Anchor from 8.00pm.
