Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity which offers free, impartial and confidential advice to the citizens of Renfrewshire.
They offer advice and support on a range of topics including benefits, consumer issues, immigration, workplace disputes and much more.
Their advice gives people the information they need to deal with any issues they are facing and the knowledge to improve their lives.
Alongside their weekly advice slot on Quality Radio 107.5 on Tuesday mornings, advice can be sought by contacting the Bureau on 0141 889 2121, emailing the Bureau on paisleycab@gmail.com and appointments can be made by visiting their website www.renfrewshirecab.org.uk

Lynette Hall is the local coordinator within Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Community Support Services for the Renfrewshire areas.
Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland provide support and assistance to people who have a chest, heart & stroke condition, as they leave hospital, return home and resume daily life.
The STAR project in Paisley has been providing resources and new and adapted engagement tools developed to support the wellbeing of community members. Specifically, our aim was to tackle the impacts of COVID-19 which has exacerbated issues such as isolation, mental health and food insecurity within an already marginalised community.
The services offer by the STAR Project include:
One to One support – Regular support via one to one phone calls from our staff and/or trained volunteers Monday to Friday between 9:30 and 5
Online Creative Workshops – Online workshops delivered digitally through our Facebook page, Zoom or on *Slack.
Tuesday and Thursday 12.30-2.30pm
Online Chatroom – Digi Drop-In through the platform of *Slack on themed topics, Q & A sessions, information and advice
Monday to Thursday 9.30 to 10.30am and again from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
Community Fridge and Pantry – Community Fridge Delivery – Staff and Volunteers will deliver food and essential products to individuals and families who would benefit from this service
Tuesday to Friday between 9.30am and 5.00pm.
STAR Shopper Service – Volunteers will shop for community members and deliver shopping to their house for free
Thursday and Friday (this is a new service and will be expanded with need)
Wee STARs Toddler Group – Wee STARs online – for families and carers who want to engage with creative, educational and fun activities for their toddlers. We will have a selection of craft packs and additional online resources available that can be used at home. (Please note crafts packs will be dependent on project capacity and resources)
