Paisley Live Music for the weekend and all next week

The Bungalow has a night of Mod Ska and Brit Pop from the M65’s. It’s time to dust off the bowling shoes and get on the dance floor. It is free entry from 7.00pm.

The BIG Band are back on Saturday afternoon, and The Bobby Deans Big Band will be on stage to belt out some Jazz, Swing and some of your all-time big band songs sung by frontman John Griffiths. The band create a dynamic, feel-good sound of that era. This is a free gig, doors open at 1.00pm.

Hells Bells, Europe’s longest running AC/DC tribute return to The Bungalow on Saturday night, 23 May. This band are the real thing and give you a real AC/DC gig performance. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.

The Bungalow is asking Paisley Buddies to take part in their ‘Walk with Craig’ event. Join in for a special community event to support Craig Ferguson (pictured) of Paisley on his incredible journey walking 3,200 miles across America from LA to Boston for Scotland’s World Cup 2026 match to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health. You won’t be walking thousands of miles, but you can be with Craig in spirit for this sponsored family-friendly walk around the town passing by some of Paisley’s historic buildings, then live music at The Bungalow after. All you need to do is be there at 12.30pm.

The final weekend of the ‘Month of Sundays’ festival ends, and it finishes of in great style with Right Down the Line an amazing Gerry Rafferty tribute. The gig is sold out but there may be some hand backs, Check Ticket Scotland.

The Bungalow Jam kicks off at 7.00pm on Tuesday, 26 May. This week’s entertainment includes music, games, a quiz and the usual Open Mic. This is free entry.

The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2.00pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band the weekly quiz.

Wee Funky Few and Lyrical Inc. are on the bill for Thursday’s Introducing Night. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.

Ronnie T kicks off at The Old Swan from 4.00pm on Friday 22 May, and following him is Abbey Road.

Saturday 23 May is a Rewind Special featuring: 2.00pm-CARLYLE, 3pm-DISTANT ECHO, 4pm-FIRE IN, 5pm-THE CASSETTES, 6pm-WRECKLESS, 7pm-AIMLESS NOMADS, 8pm-MIDNIGHT MOSES, 9pm-CRACKERMAN.

More outside with a Sax DJ set and Small-Town Sound and DJ’s John and Maria.

The Sunday Soul Club kicks off at 3.00pm and Addiction and Friends start at 6.00pm for a Bank Holiday special. Crawford Carlyle at 5.00pm on Monday; Lee James on Tuesday at 3.00pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller.  Duncan McLellan will be onstage on Wednesday 27 May at 5.00pm.

Ciaran Whyte is at The Keg on Friday night, 22 May and Saturday night from 9.00pm it is Amped.

On Thursday 28 May, you can discover a full line up of new or up and coming talent kicking off at 9pm. Mimic Street Preachers who are a tribute to Manic Street Preachers, will be playing all the classic hits and killer tunes from the first 5 albums at Venue tomorrow. It’s not just the ‘nice’ covers, they perform a full bloodied rock experience to help you relive those early 1990s Manic’s days. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.

Graeme J Kerr returns to the stage in Sportsters from 8.00pm on Friday night, 22 May. Graeme give you a full band sound using his skill with a loop pedal to build up and create the sound effortlessly and seamlessly.

Kennedy’s have Sad Ida in on Sunday 24 May playing from 3.00pm, and at The Inn on the Corner have Rumours starts at 6.00pm also on Sunday 24 May.

The Open Mic/Stage Sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday; Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm; The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday; The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm; The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
