Paisley mental health charity fundraiser

12th May 2026

Paisley charity Adult and Adolescent Relationship Counselling provides affordable counselling is to hold a fundraising night this month.

The AARC (Adult and Adolescent Relational Counselling) is to host the event on Friday 22 May 2026.

Organisers will be joined by Scotland’s longest-running Northern Soul, Soul, 1960’s and R&B band Berry Tweed and the Chasers and see performances from Rock Choir by Jen Bonnar.

There will also be a raffle with some great prizes, together with the local Paisley brewery, Two Towns Down Brewing with their beers plus soft drinks.
Funds raised will support the charity, which aims to tackle the mental health crisis through low-cost, affordable counselling.

The event is to raise much-needed funds for AARC.  A small counselling charity based in Paisley and Renfrew, staffed primarily by volunteers at present, providing free, low-cost, affordable counselling support to the communities that need it most.

The aim is to tackle mental health crisis at the core, and not only support families, adults and children but to train as many members of the local community as possible in counselling skills, so that a whole network of highly skilled support directly where it is needed most.
