Cocaine with an estimated street value of £150,000 has been recovered in Glasgow.
Around 7.45pm on Thursday 17 September, 2026 officers acting on intelligence stopped the occupants of two cars on Gartocher Terrace, Glasgow.
During a search of the vehicles, a significant quantity of the Class A drug was discovered.
Two men, aged 42 and 54, were arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences.
Both are due to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 18 September, 2026.
Detective Chief Inspector Laura Sands said: “This significant recovery highlights our determination to protect the public by disrupting the trade of illegal drugs and preventing them causing harm in our communities.
“It also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
