After the demise of 96.3 Rock Radio, I was asked to help out on the website of the new online version of the station. I felt the station was too “Heavy Metal” and not diverse enough (more Prog, more Blues etc), so I was tasked with producing a Blues Power Hour. This proved very popular and it grew into a presenting and producing role. From that “Pablo” was born
I once met Michael Douglas walking down the street in New York. He was going to Van Cleef and Arpels (an expensive jewellers) for a gift for Catherine Zeta Jones. Surprisingly very pleasant, chatted about Scotland and golf. Took his picture with my wife and managed to partially cut her head off in the photo
Music preferences? Blues (obviously), Rock, 80’s, 90’s and a sprinkling of Indie
Any surprising facts your listeners may not know about you? Every year we take Halloween dressing up very seriously. In the last few years I have been Dr Frank-N-Furter, Princess Daisy from Super Mario, Freddie Mercury in the “I want to break free” video, Andy Pipkin from Little Britain and a whoopee cushion.
