Ricky Templeman.
From Edinburgh. I began playing music from the age of 14 at the local community centre, then at 16 at the local pub. ( I looked older)
From 18 years old I started in the mobile disco scene. During that time I was involved with the Radio Forth roadshows across Fife, Edinburgh and the borders.
When did you get into Radio?
I got into broadcasting in 2003. I was the first voice of Leith FM in Edinburgh.
I presented with my wife Carly on breakfast for seven years, plus I also hosted the weekly football show with special guests from the sport.
After that I moved to different radio stations, Castle Fm, East Coast FM, Black Diamond FM, West fife, Mix 1 and now here I am on this exciting station Quality radio.
What celebrities have you met?
Don’t know if you’re old enough to remember but we met Dan Haggarty in Florida 2009, He starred in the tv show Grizzly Adams. That was a nice start to the holiday.
I have met a lot of people and interviewed many .
Alvin Stardust, Slade, Rubettes, Andy bell, Jack Savoretti, Pussycat doll Ashley Roberts, ABC and Ricky and Lorraine from Deacon blue.
Most embarrassing moment.
I was presenting breakfast one day and I got a call through to the studio from a friend, we were chatting away during a track and all I saw was another presenter knocking on the glass window outside the studio waving to get my attention. I just realised that our conversation was going out live on air.
I could not believe it, The worst moment in my life ha ha.
Hobbies.
When I get time I like Go kart racing, Football and Table tennis.

Deacon blue, E L O, Sir Elton john, Take That, The beautiful south and Dean Martin of course.
Best concert.
Shania Twain and Elton John.( Not at the same time.)
