Black Rose return to The Bungalow with a free to attend show on Friday night, 28 August. The band gives you all the best of Irish Rockers, Thin Lizzy. Expect songs like The Boys are Back in Town, Jailbreak, Whisky in the Jar and many more. Doors are at 7.00pm.
Catch Bits & Pieces with a set full of Mod and Soul classics in the afternoon slot on Saturday 29 August. Doors are 1.00pm.
After a sell-out show in 2025 at The Bungalow, The McCommitments return for another night of great music, sing-a-longs and lots of dancing. Limited tickets on the door from 7.00pm. This show will be a standing event with limited seats for those with mobility issues (please contact the venue to reserve a seat) There will be a support act.
The Petty Officials are back for another free gig at The Bungalow on Sunday 30 August. The band start at 2.00pm so get in early for the best seats.
The Bungalow Jam kicks off at 7.00pm on Tuesday 1 September 2026. This week’s entertainment includes music, games, a quiz and the usual Open Mic. This is free entry.
The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2.00pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band and the weekly quiz.
Wednesday evening sees live club sessions at The Bungalow. Doors are at 7.00pm.
Local Paisley band Radiola are the headliners on Thursday 3 Sepotember. Radiola have been described as an Alt-country, progressive rock, and experimental indie with influences from The Beatles, Neil Young, and Radiohead. Tickets at the door from 7.00pm and support.
Ronnie T kicks off at The Old Swan from 4.00pm on Friday night, 28 August, and following him is a live set from Carbon Copy at 8.00pm. Saturday 29 August at 4.00pm is Michigan.
The Sunday Soul Club starts at 4.00pm. If you have nothing to do on Monday, 31 August, treat yourself and get to The Old Swan to listen to the fantastic voice of Crawford Carlyle who must be one of the best singers around, and he is well worth going to see. He starts at 5.00pm on Monday; Lee James on Tuesday at 3.00pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller. Duncan McLellan will be onstage on Wednesday 2 September at 5.00pm.
Mark McMillan (pictured above) is playing at The Keg on Friday night, 28 August from 9pm. Saturday night from 9.00pm it will be Amped. On Thursday 3 September, you can discover a full line up of new or up and coming talent showcasing new original material. You might find your newest favourite band. It all kicks off at 9.00pm.
On Sunday afternoon, 30 August from 3.00pm straight from their busy gig last week at The Bungalow, it is the very popular Cherry Red ’53. they will be belting out some rockabilly and early rock n roll. Free entry. Later at The Inn on the Corner, Reflections will take to the floor to entertain you with their show full of songs – you will love at 6.00pm. After Reflections the re-energised and re-built (after a wee accident) Jim Keilt and The State Bar Blues Band will be on stage to play some cracking tunes and anything you want to throw at him.
Every Thursday at The Anchor is a Scottish Trad Jam. Join in and bring an instrument, play a song or join in. Or just sit back and enjoy the music from Mairead McManus, Katie Boyle, Johnny Canning and whoever turns up on the night. Starts at 8.00pm.
The Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
