Paisley live music gigs for the weekend and all next week

18th Mar 2026

It is a welcome back to The Bungalow for the Greig Taylor Band in advance of the release of their new album ‘Take a Left’.

Their last album ‘The Light’ received critical acclaim and significant radio play. This is a band with some pedigree, and you can expect bluesy/soulful songs with a rocking edge.

At the heart of the band is Greig Taylor’s soulful and accomplished vocals, but he is ably supported by experienced musicians. The band will be undertaking a UK tour with Geoff Achison and Tom Waters later this year, so this is a chance to catch them at The Bungalow. Tickets on the door are from 7.00pm.

Saturday afternoon, 21 March, the very popular Dead Flowers are back for another crazy rock session featuring all the best rock tune we all know. Free entry and doors open at 1.00pm. This gig is mainly standing as it is usually packed out, and feels more like a stadium gig than a small venue.

Step into the world of INXS at The Bungalow on Saturday night, 21 March, as INXS UK flawlessly recreates the distinctive vocals of Michael Hutchence and the dynamic musicality. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm. Give Way return for a free entry Sunday (22 March) afternoon session. Doors open at 1.00pm and band on approx 2.00pm.

The Bungalow Jam kicks off at 7.00pm on Tuesday 24 March. This week it has a different flavour as there will be music, games, a quiz and the usual Open Mic. All the fun starts when doors open at 7.00pm.

The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2.00pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band and the popular quiz – it’s not the winning, it’s the learning!  On Wednesday evening Story Tree invites you to their inaugural poetry slam. The night will have 10 poets, a competitive 3 rounds and 1 winner with a live music set by Erin Hephzibah. This event is free with the option to donate. The host for the evening is Georgia Francis and the line-up is Emily Briggs, RJ Hunter, Beth Rose, Ross Wilcock, Yolande Robertson-Greene, Ross McFarlane, Hazyn Templeton, Gordon Powrie, Drew Gill, Sarah Heitler. Doors are 7.00pm.

Thursday Introducing Night on 26 March, has been taken over by Renfrewshire schools (pictured) who are having a showcase of young talent.  Last year’s event was a busy one, and the talent for bands that were so young was impressive. These nights are perfect for giving you a glimpse of what the best emerging original talent looks like. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.

Ronnie T kicks off at The Old Swan from 4.00pm followed by All Right Now a Free and Bad Company tribute at 8.00pm. Haggis, Neeps and Fatties are in the coveted ‘Shoppers Slot’ at 4.00pm.

The Sunday Soul Club kicks off at 4.00pm; Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday 23 March, from 4.00pm, Lee James on Tuesday at 3.00pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller.  Duncan McLellan will be onstage on Wednesday to play a whole load of your favourite songs.

Ciaran Whyte is at The Keg on Friday night, 20 March from 9pm and Saturday night from 9.00pm it is Freight Train. On Thursday you can discover a full line up of new or up and coming talent kicking off at 9.00pm.
