Police Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Paisley.
Around 9.00pm on Sunday 22 March 2026, Police officers were called to a report of a man being attacked by a group of six youths – boys and girls, aged 14-16 years – on Smithhills Street, Paisley.
Emergency services attended and a 32-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, for treatment to serious injuries.
Constable Victoria Smillie said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident, and we are appealing for the assistance of the public.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident and who hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone with any private CCTV or dash-cam footage to contact us.”
