Queen Rhapsody (formerly known as Queen II) entertains their audiences performing hits from every decade of Queen’s musical legacy – Queen Rhapsody truly is one of the best Queen tributes around. The band are best known for their accuracy and finer detail of portraying the band’s authentic sound. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.
On Sunday afternoon, 5 July 2026, check out the live session with The Petty Officials Covers Band who make a welcome return to return to The Bungalow. This is mainly seated and it is free entry from 1.00pm.
The Bungalow Jam kicks off at 7.00pm on Tuesday 7 July. This week’s entertainment includes music, games, a quiz and the usual Open Mic. This is free entry.
The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2.00pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band the his weekly quiz.
On Wednesday, 8 July, the PaiSlay drag show and all it’s fun, comedy and music will be happening. Not for the faint hearted. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.
Thursday night, 9 July, is an Introducing Night featuring The Pergola, Suddenly Found and Serah. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.
Ronnie T kicks off at The Old Swan from 4.00pm tonight, Friday 3 July, and following him is a live session at 8.00pm.
Saturday 4 July at The Old Swan there will be a live band at 4.00pm. The Sunday Soul Club starts at 4pm at The Old Swan. There is a new pensioners club on Monday from 2.00pm. Suzie Graham is the entertainment, and she will be singing all the best Patsy Cline songs for you.
You can hear the amazing voice of Crawford Carlyle singing some of the best ‘singers’ tunes at 5.00pm on Monday; Lee James on Tuesday at 3.00pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller. Duncan McLellan will be onstage on Wednesday at 5.00pm.
Greg James is at The Keg on Friday night from 9.00pm. Saturday night, 4 July, from 9.00pm it is Lateral Flow. On Thursday you can discover a full line up of new or up and coming talent kicking off at 9.00pm.
Graeme J Kerr returns to the stage in Sportsters from 8pm Friday 3 July. Graeme’s repertoire is vast and his skill with a loop pedal gives you a full band experience.
Kennedys have Big Licks on Friday night, 3 July from 9.00pm and Overdrive on Sunday from 3.00pm.
On Saturday, The Inn on the Corner have Rumours starting at 4.00pm and on Saturday, 4 July, then on Sunday it is Blind Panik who will be onstage from 6.00pm to belt out some Blues, Boogie and Rock bangers.
The Venue on Friday night, 3 July, has a night more spine chilling than Black Sabbath or Alice Cooper. How about a you come along and see what ghosts come out at night in this old building built from 1888. Join paranormal investigator Anne Clark the Medium for a night of thrills and chills. Starts at 9.00pm.
I had a pleasant surprise last week when I sauntered into The Anchor at The Abbey. The new Trad Night on Thursdays is well worth a wee visit, bring an instrument and join in or sit back and enjoy the music from Mairead McManus, Katie Boyle, Johnny Canning and whoever turns up on the night and gives you a song. It all kicks off at 8.00pm.
The Open Mic/Stage Sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
