Johnstone based Active Communities welcomes new Chairperson

22nd Oct 2025

Renfrewshire based charity Active Communities have appointed a new Chairperson to their Board of Trustees.

Susie Paterson formally took up the role in August 2025 and will lead the Board in setting the organisation’s strategic direction.

Susie’s diverse professional history, encompassing events, sales management and business development in the third sector, provides a strong foundation for her leadership.

Her five years in the non-profit sector demonstrate understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the third sector.

Her current role as a Business Development Manager at Motherwell and Wishaw Citizens Advice Bureau further solidifies her expertise in fostering partnerships, securing resources, and driving organisational development, all crucial attributes for a chairperson.
