The Gerry Cinn-a-man Experience & Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Carpets (pictured) are back for another bouncing night at The Bungalow on Friday 17 April. They consistently sell out venues and this Gerry Cinna-man Experience is a must see for any fans. In support is the up-and-coming talent that is Robyn Red. Tickets on the door are from 7.00pm.
Saturday 18 April daytime gig is the very popular Bobby Deans Big Band, and they will be bringing you a whole bunch of Jazz, Swing and Big Band favourites fronted by Mr Smooth John Griffith. Doors open at 1.00pm and the gig is free entry.
Illegally Blondie is on Saturday night 18 April, with all the costumes, all the hits and more. With a 2025 Sell Out Tour, the UK’s newest Blondie tribute has made a lot of noise on the circuit. Bringing a fresh, raw, high-energy edge to all those Blondie classics. Tickets on the door from 7,00pm.
Broken Angel will be playing on Sunday afternoon, 18 April. They have been described as a feel good, upbeat, female fronted, 4-piece, Rock/Pop cover band playing music from the 1960’s to the 00’s. Doors are 1.00pm and entry is free.
Vernon James returns to The Bungalow on Sunday evening 19 April, with his brilliant tribute to James Taylor. Expect to hear songs such as ‘She’s Got A Friend’ ‘California on My Mind’ ‘Sweet Baby James’ ‘Something in the Way She Moves’ ‘Fire and Rain’ and many more. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.
The Bungalow Jam kicks off at 7.00pm on Tuesday 21 April. This week’s entertainment includes music, games, a quiz and the usual Open Mic. This is free entry.
The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2.00pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band the weekly quiz.
On Thursday 23 April, it’s a night of multiple acoustic acts and a set from The King of Birds all for St Vincents Hospice. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.
Join Jumbo Gibson for a night of pure celebration as the Beatles’ Rubber Soul turns 60 at Venue on Saturday night, 18 April. Experience all 14 tracks live; from ‘Drive My Car’ to ‘Run for Your Life’ and every track in between. Jumbo Gibson are one of Scotland’s most renowned live and originals bands, playing events and festivals around the country for the past decade. Tickets on the door from 7.00pm.
Ronnie T kicks off at The Old Swan from 4.00pm on Friday night, 17 April, and following him is Power Outage an AC/DC tribute. You can get tickets on the door or earlier at the venue if you can. The rockin starts at 8pm. Addiction and friends will be kicking off at 4.00pm on Saturday afternoon.
The Sunday Soul Club kicks off at 4.00pm; Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday20 April from 4.00pm; Lee James on Tuesday at 3.00pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller. Duncan McLellan will be onstage on Wednesday 22 April to play a whole load of your favourite songs.
Mark McMillan is at The Keg on Friday night, 17 April from 9.00pm and Saturday night from 9.00pm it is Drty Luv. On Thursday 23 April, you can discover a full line up of new or up and coming talent kicking off at 9.00pm.
Sportsters have live music on Friday night in the shape of Cammy McIwham at 8.00pm and on Sunday 19 April, there is a live session from 6.00pm. Check venue for details.
Kennedys have Howlin’ Radio in on Sunday 19 April from 3.00pm and over at The Inn on the Corner – Blind Panik will be pounding out some Blues, Boogie and Rock kicking off at 6.00pm.
The Open Mic/Stage Sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and The Inn on the Corner has an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
