Police Scotland Officers are appealing for information following a wilful fire in Bishopton, Renfrewshire.
Around 8.00pm on Saturday, 11 April 2026, police were made aware of a fire at a school on Old Greenock Road, Bishopton.
Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue service. There were no reports of any injuries.
Detective Constable Jack McElwee said: “Thankfully there was no lasting damage or injuries as a result of this incident but it could have been worse.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone with any information or who may have dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to contact us.”
