The Renfrewshire Council 2026/2027 Budget will ensure every play park in Renfrewshire will have benefited from investment.
Renfrewshire Council will also invest in local communities, support those most in need with cost-of-living pressures and protect essential services.
Renfrewshire Council investment includes funding to:
- Improve play parks support programmes which help those most in need, including continuing the £50 winter school clothing payment to eligible children and supporting Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau
- Replace and fit out a new Skoobmobile Upgrade pitches at Linwood and St Benedict’s High Schools.
- Expand Digizones across Renfrewshire to support digital inclusion Support adult social care services, including social work and Care at Home Carry out internal upgrades to OneRen sports and leisure venues.
- Support community and neighbourhood improvements, including funding for sports pavilions which are in use but in poor condition Support and expand our events programme.
- There will also be a 7.5% rise in council tax to help fund investments and meet rising costs.
- The Renfrewshire Council Budget commitments were informed by feedback from residents on what matters most to them.
