Leading civil engineering and building contractor Farrans Construction will soon commence work on AMIDS for Renfrewshire Council in Paisley.
Local suppliers are invited to attend a Meet the Buyer event in Renfrew to find out more about potential contract opportunities.
This project will construct a new 93-meter span steel arch bridge, upgrade 1.7km of existing road and create 550m of new road.
Farrans is keen to speak to new and innovative local suppliers, especially micro-enterprises, SMEs and social enterprises for a range of services including CCTV cameras, temporary power, archaeological surveys, invasive species surveys, cleaners and fencing.
Further opportunities will develop as the project progresses, including for the supply of concrete and aggregates, piling works, surfacing and concreting.
