Paisley live music gigs this weekend and all next week

5th Sep 2025

Today, Friday 5 September and Sunday 7 October, (tickets on the door from 12.30pm) Burn the Cork Theatre Company are back with their annual show.

This year’s show is God of Carnage. What happens when two pretentious couples, the Reille’s and the Vallon’s, meet to discuss a violent incident between their 11-year-old sons? Well, the four begin in thinly veiled, sickening politeness but nose-dive towards irrational arguments, ranging from the ridiculous to utter nonsense … Only serving to expose their flaws. What could go wrong? Everything!

Since forming 10 years ago as a ‘Sensational’ tribute to Scotland’s finest, one-of-a-kind rock sons and his band, the Sensational Alex Harvey Experience (SAHE) have grown to become one of the most respected tribute bands on the circuit. 2025 is an anniversary for the band which coincides with the 50-year anniversary of the release of the legendary SAHB ‘Live’ album. SAHE will play most songs from the album as part of their 2025 set. Those who have seen the band live can attest to their musicality and theatricality. Tickets on the door tonight, Friday 5 September, from 7.00pm.

ModStuff is back tomorrow, Saturday 6 September. There are two sessions. The afternoon free gig from 12.30pm has on stage, Ocean Views, The Nine Tens and The M65’s. Tickets are available for the evening gig from 7.00pm and Absolute Weller and The Laynes are on the bill.  Afterglow DJ – John Kitchen is on the decks spinning original vinyl till late to keep everyone dancing. Get down to see the scooter rideout at 12pm.

The Tuesday Bungalow Open Stage starts at 7.00pm on Tuesday 9 September.  If you want to get on stage and jam or play some songs this is for you. The house band will be there to help and full backline available. Free entry.

Paisley-born, Melbourne-based indie rocker Quinny returns home for his first Bungalow gig in 7 years on Wednesday 10 September, and supporting him is Carie Mollins and The Gateway Clash. Renowned for his tongue-in-cheek lyricism, as well as frequently having strangers mistaking him for Ed Sheeran in public, Quinny’s musical endeavours has seen him fuse his burgeoning musical flair over the years with his four “influential B’s”, namely Biffy Clyro, Blink-182, The Beatles and Bombay Bicycle Club. 7.00pm doors £5 + booking fee / £7 on the door

On Thursday it is Dignity Row. Tickets on the door from 7pm.

The Legendary T in the Swan is on tomorrow, Saturday 6 September. So far it is a sellout (again). If you have a ticket, here is what you will get. Proposal, Moonrocks, Howlin Radio, Renaissance, The 125’s, Fire In, Give Way, Aimless Nomads and Distant Sun and it all kicks off at 1.00pm.

On the Garden Stage from 2pm, John and Maria are spinning some tunes and live music from Smalltown Sound and Graham Miller on Sax.

Discover new or up and coming talent on Thursday 11 September at The Keg as they have another night filled with original material. The session kicks off at 9pm.

Check out Kennedy’s on Sunday, Fathers’s Day, 7 September at 3.00pm as the mighty Kong are playing and later over at The Inn on the Corner there will be the usual live action from 4.30pm.
