The Bungalow venue in Shuttle Street, Paisley, has organised a special community event to support Paisley man Craig Ferguson on his incredible journey walking 3,200 miles across America from LA to Boston for Scotland’s World Cup match to raise awareness and funds for Scottish Action for Mental Health.
They are calling out for everyone to “Walk with Craig.”
It won’t be walking thousands of miles like Craig is doing, it’s a sponsored family-friendly walk around the town passing-by some of Paisley’s historic buildings, but they will be with Craig in spirit.
This is more than just a walk – it’s about coming together as a community, supporting mental health, and being part of something meaningful.
The dress code is Scotland-themed gear is encouraged, so expect tartan, kilts, and colours.
The call is to simply ‘Walk with Craig’ and donate straight to his Just Giving page at https://www.thetartantrek.co.uk
Or you can do the walk and then enjoy an afternoon of live music with The Getaway, Kieran Hepburn, Craig’s cousin Skye Devlin and Whyte Noise in The Bungalow – limited tickets available only £10.
On the day, there will be a special live link to Craig all the way from America. SAMH operate over 70 services in communities across Scotland, providing mental health social care support, addictions and employment services, amongst others.
