As people know, Creedence Clearwater Revival today is only a memory: it was the most representative Californian band of the “on the road” culture in the 1960s and 1970s. So, Creedence Clearwater Revived was born, dedicated to a legendary period and to the inimitable repertoire of CCR, led by the virtuoso guitarist Johnny “Guitar” Williamson, a member of Titanic, the band of the worldwide hit “Sultana”, that shared some venues with CCR in the last period of Creedence.

They play a setlist dedicated to the legendary CCR and to the Fogerty Brothers, including Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Green River, Down on the Corner and more. Tickets on the door on Saturday, 24 January, night from 7.00pm.

Sunday’s free afternoon gig is Distant Echo who are a covers bands playing tracks from artists such as The Killers, Blur, Charlatans, The Jam, Kings of Leon, The Clash, Happy Mondays, Generation X, Arctic Monkeys and many more. Doors open at 1.00pm with band on approximately 2.00pm.

The Bungalow Jam kicks off at 7.00pm on Sunday, 25 January.

The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2.00pm, with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band and the popular quiz – it’s not the winning, it’s the learning!

On Thursday, 29 January there is a homecoming gig not to be missed. Tony McManus probably Paisley’s top guitarist is playing his hometown.  He is partnered with Julia Toaspern.

Their twin guitar treatment of traditional music is unique, and each supports the other in exploring the harmonic possibilities of these old, and not so old, tunes. Each of the pair both flatpick and fingerpick at the highest level but always at the service of the tune rather than a display of technique.

Her violin can effortlessly morph into a fiddle as she weaves from Italian madrigal to Scottish reel. Julia’s songs go to the heart of love and loss, hope and survival and are inflected with musical input from a wide and eclectic experience of musical life.

Tony’s and Julia’s arrangements are rooted in deep musicality and heartfelt expression. Support is Danny Bradley. This is a seated gig with limited tickets at the door from 7.00pm.

The Swan have Heart Industry in on Friday night 23 January 2026, and they kick off at 8.00pm. On Saturday afternoon from 4.00pm it is Howlin’ Radio  (pictured above) followed by a live DJ set till late.

The Sunday Soul Club kicks off at 4.00pm with John and Maria on the decks. Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday 26 January from 4.00pm; Lee James starts his comedy and song stage show on Tuesday at 3.00pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm, and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller.  Duncan McLellan will be onstage on Wednesday 28 January to play a whole load of your favourite songs.

Check out Kennedy’s on Sunday as Howlin Radio are playing their second gig in the town from 3pm. Over at The Inn on the Corner there will be a Live Sunday Session from 4.30pm.
